We've graced the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in May 2017 with our exclusive range in collaboration with a luxury women's RTW brand ROOPA. Handcrafted with bespoke bold prints and luxurious fabrics, the ENCHANTÉ collection is beautiful, daring and unique.
“These are bold, beautiful and unique ‘statement’ shoes, made using bespoke patterned fabrics, that will lift and complement any outfit, day or night. They are absolutely perfect for today’s strong and sexy woman… Designed to mix and match with stripes and patterns or plains, to create a unique, fashion-forward look. Like all of our shoes they are super comfortable to wear, all day, everyday and into the night “ says Ashley Lim, Creative Director of Extraordinary Ordinary Day.
Following the success of EOD’s latest collection 'Scarlett', this new range promises again top to toe womanliness. This time around though, there is greater emphasis on the characteristics of ‘yin’, working with exquisite fabrics and intricate prints designed by Sri Lankan born, Sydney based artist Uma Jeyaseelan. Laid over the finest silk, these prints are like illustrations drawn whilst daydreaming.
Two classic EOD designs - Mary Jane and whimsical Mule styles – have been adapted for the range. Think expressiveness and whimsy, both in colours and prints - marigold yellows and pop pinks, together with embroidery - and bold combinations, finely balanced by the sculptural qualities of the toebox and block heels.
Like EOD shoes, Roopa’s beautiful fabrics are hand crafted by artisans with the finest raw materials, using time-proven methods in print, knit, and embroidery. Blending ancient and modern techniques, their manufacturing process – working with natural fibres and organic dyes – is done by hand, making each piece truly unique.
